The Club was established in 1948 and is based at Kaitaia Airport just 7 km from Kaitaia township in the sunny Far North, giving us the distinction of being the most northern Aero Club in the nation.

Two sealed runways, PAL night-land facilities, free airspace and great scenery make Kaitaia a special place to fly.The premises are well appointed with office, briefing-room, self-service kitchen and social lounge. The Bar facilities are open every Wednesday from 4.00pm. We are family oriented, with a friendly atmosphere and active social scene. Prospective members and visitors most welcome.
